As you stare into it, it stares back. The mind can only fathom what it can contain, from the worst creatures known to the safest place.The slightest movement triggers the natural reaction for survival, fear. As the fear seeps through the system, the mind starts racing to match the pace of the heart. As fear grows more powerful, sounds start to seep into the ears to toy with the mind. The urge to run or scream for help grows greater to no use, as the body is frozen in place as the mind continues to race for a solution. It all happened so fast…..I was on my way home after meeting Spain and France at the bar like every Friday. There was…this shrill sound of tires and then the shrieking of metal rubbing together, then it all just went black. The next thing I knew I had woken up to pure blackness, as I tried to reach out and sit up nothing happened. It was as if my arms were refusing to work. I then tried to open my eyes and look around, but that didn’t work either. I started to panic before calming myself, maybe it was just a dream? Yeah….. it must just be a dream.
